Immediate boarding to Cyprus

Larnaca Cypriot Airport is designed to handle up to 18,000 peak day travelers, or 7.5 million travelers a year. With this structure, as with Paphos airport, in the south of the island, Bouygues Bâtiment International is supporting the country’s tourist boom.

She would have been born on her shores, from the foam of a wave. But maybe you will find out when you arrive? In the 100,000 m² terminal in Larnaca, works of art line the walls and immediately awaken this culture, steeped in oriental, Hellenic and Roman influences. The airport must indeed reflect its destination. It must also offer its visitors all the services of an international structure. In addition to 67 check-in counters, 6,500 m² of shops and 300,000 m² of parking lots and aircraft traffic, it includes state-of-the-art equipment for baggage sorting, security and passenger information. The specificity of the project? Here, the private sector financed the construction – € 600 million contributed by the banks – and the Hermès consortium (22% Bouygues) manages the operation for 25 years. A montage rewarded by the Project Finance Magazine, with the price of the Deal of the year 2006, transport category.

The +: Environmental performance

Bouygues Bâtiment International Cyprus Branch is the first company in Cyprus to obtain triple quality, environment and safety certification for a construction site. Larnaca Airport has also been designed for good environmental performance: air conditioning limits the electric power required during peak hours thanks to a chilled water storage system.
