A returning client for Bouygues UK
Having already delivered Phase 1 and Phase 2 of ‘The Pastures’ student accommodation project in 2013 and 2018 respectively, the University of Essex returned to Bouygues UK under its student accommodation brand Uliving for the construction of the third phase of the scheme, consisting of 1,262 new, high-quality student bedrooms.
The student residences are split across five buildings on the Colchester campus and include a reception, post room, administrative area, student services center and staff welfare facilities.
A comprehensive landscape strategy complements the project’s design in order enhance the biodiversity surrounding the accommodation.
